Who should replace Alex Trebek as Jeopardy host?

Hopefully someone who knows a little about a lot of stuff. Trebek made it extra interesting because he had a pretty impressive depth of knowledge.

Do you suppose he had this depth of info handed to him to go along with that days questions?
Not saying he’s not capable, but that’s a wide variety of info. I like him as the host, does a great job.

I'm sure you're right, that he was prepped or did his own research before each show. I do think that he is a bit of a renaissance man and enjoyed and takes pride in knowing the info, even if most of it was useless trivia. Many game show hosts today are entertainers/clowns first and I feel like Trebek brings a sense of importance to and celebrated the pursuit of knowledge.

Sorry, it's not my favorite type of TV show, at all
& like most lame *** game shows,
I dislike 99% of them, waste of air time
but;
at least you can learn a little something watching it...
Just not a game show guy...
My dad watches all that ****, what a waste...
