Why are bow clips different colors?

Headliner bow clips are green and silver. Is there a reason for this? Green for pass side and silver for driver correct?

Different colors for different locations. Just don’t ask me which color goes where.

Are these bow clips located only at the outer ends of the bows, or along the bows?

Hey guys, this is great info on the color orientation of the head liner bows but @davek was asking about the clips that hold the bows in place.
Seems he has green ones and plain metal ones.

All of the original clips in my ‘68 Charger are green. The bows themselves have different color painted ends
