First, you have to remove the main window. Then you unbolt the window channel (back 1/2 of vent window frame & front 1/2 of main window) and the whole thing slides up & out of the door. To remove JUST the window, I believe you can remove the Phillips screw at the side pivot & reach inside the door to detach the middle/bottom pivot (nut or maybe a cotter pin or something?). The vent window comes out with the frame on it.

There is a small access hole in side of the door
That has a plastic plug
pop off the plug
And there is a allen headed screw deep inside
You need to loosen and the whole frame will then pull out
the screw is pretty deep so you need a long allen key
And i even had to grind the key down on the sides
to be able to
Fit in the small hole.

Thanks so much for your response, that makes total sense and I will try that and I'm sure it will do the trick...I appreciate your help with this. I'm totally restoring this car (was told it was road worth) however the more I dig in the more issues I find...it will be terrific when it's finished, hopefully before the end of 2016. Kerry

@flypaper...I so appreciate the help! This car has been a pain - I know it will be totally worth in when I get it finished. It's help like yours and purplebeeper's that will help me with some of the details I haven't ran across before. I may need to ask you both something else about this particular car while I am tearing it down to restore it the way it was meant to be. Thanks...Kerry
