The new window regulator slides in the kit I purchased for my '72 SSP project car are not square like the old ones but rectangular. Not only that, they have some kind of funky little plastic spring clips that look so fragile I fear they are going to snap if I look at them wrong. Should I just put things back together and keep the old square shaped slides? The first foto shows what came in my new kit, the second foto is more like what my old ones look like (but the foto shows a new one). I don't feel like grinding the studs off to replace them (and then hammering the heck out of the new stud so it won't fall off) if the end result will be the same or worse. I'll be using some garage door spray on grease/lube that I found at ACE Hardware. Thank you.

Dibbons, those should work as long as they're the same height and fit in the tracks
