I'm debating if I should put a bit of tint on the back window of my 67' Belvedere. I find driving at night the headlight glare from other cars is painful.

I'm sure it wouldnt hurt for UV rays on hot days either.

But does it look "right"?

Personal taste. I thought about it for my GTX and decided against it cause I just thought it was too much for my car with the color and black roof etc.

I've been considering the same thing with my Super Bee. I think even if you go with a very light tint (50%) it can make a big difference with both interior temperature and glare. I would also go with a green which would be "correct".

Anyone have any pictures that has done it? I won't do the Wal-Mart stick on stuff I'll have it professionally done if I do.

Tough finding pics of 66-67 B-bodys with even factory tint.

tinted...

Do you have the day/night feature on your rear view mirror? Mine works pretty well at cutting down headlight glare.

I personally don't like aftermarket tint. It's the 1st thing a kid does to his car. Kinda JC Whitney, to me.

I'm gonna do it to my car, damned if I care what someone may think. It helps my only eye, so that is why I'm doing it!

Well, that's not for appearance. The question was "does it look right?"

I say yes, gotta do the quarter windows also, then it's all good.
