Windows 10 Support Ending - So Sick of Windows

I liked XP Pro, even better if you were one of the rare ones to install the 64-bit version, because the predominant 32-bit version could only support up to 4 GB of RAM. The other limitation with XP was that it could only recognize up to a 2 TB drive. My favorite OS'es were XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro, but I was forced to upgrade some of my computers to Win 11 because essential software I needed for music recording and some games would only work on 11. I hate how 11 wants to take control of everything and seems more aimed to the cellphone/tablet touchscreen-and-swipe crowd than the performance enthusiast.

And as I stated on another post, Turbo Tax 2025 will not run on Windows 10! My desktop with thirteen years worth
of files is useless. I'll have to transfer them to my laptop with Windows 11 to do my taxes. Just sayin'

Not around here! I shop around for the best deal starting just after Thanksgiving.
Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.

My son uses it and it seems great til he goes to file and get his refund and then extra fees start adding up. $$$$

I go with TurboTax too, I used to get it for free but now I pay, its worth it to me because the fees add up but it saves me so much time that its worth it. I really value my time so I'll go with an option that many consider a waste of money to save time.

I ditched Turbo Tax maybe 4-5 years ago.
The online stuff got more tedious, the interface worse and the price just kept rising.
I switched to H&R Block online and it was better I thought.

I still use Turbo Tax on the advice of my finance guy. One price lets me do several separate returns for my family.

I was on H&R before Turbo Tax and came over only because I started working for the company and it was an employee perk, its been so long that I have no idea what H&R looks like now. Also I use the iPad app which seems streamlined over the web browser experience, we'll see if that holds true when its time to file again in a few months.

Taxes? You guys pay taxes?
I went to Settings>Update and in that window it said I was eligible for one more year of free security upgrades. I hit the enroll button.
A year from now I will not remember any of this.

free security upgrades. I hit the enroll button.
