winter weather , so freaking tired of it already !!

We haven’t got walloped with snow here fortunately, just 2-3 inches the last few days. But it’s supposed to get brutally cold later today, close to -10 tonight. The winds are forecast to be high so the wind chill will be -35 to -40. I’m staying inside!
Worse up north of course. There’s reports that trees will be exploding due to the cold!

Getting lucky at the moment.... squalls both North and South of the property with a direct easterly wind. Hope it stays as such so I'm not blowing snow tomorrow like the foot I did today.

I did when I was younger. I was the youngest pinned ski instructor in Ontario when I was 13 years old. Taught on Saturday, Ski Patrolled on Sunday and my Sister and I took many a Wednesday off and our Mother would write our attendance note for the vice principal that simply stated "Wayne and Wendy weren't feeling well and had to go to the slopes to be cured". He only called her once.. LOL

Have skied since I was 4 years old, jumped off cliffs, etc, but the knees just won't do it anymore.

I've always hated February, it's been a long winter and february always has a streak of butt *** cold temps. Only a couple more days and hopefully we are done with below zero crap. March is a week away then there is light at the end of that long cold dark tunnel called winter. NHRA drag racing starts in early march!! Bring on spring!!

My birthday is early February. It's always cold, and grey. But February is a short month. And end of February is almost always different than beginning.

I like winter. Apparently, that's why I've always lived in the north. Actually, I like all the season, with spring being my least favorite. MUD.
We're fortunate to have gotten snow, and hope there's a big snow-pack for the trees. I've never understood people who live where there's a winter, yearly....then whine about it.
