Wiper motor drive crank, left or right?

I wonder if anyone has a clue how to mount the drive crank on a 3 speed wiper motor, will it point to the drivers side or to the passenger side?

That would depend if the motor is in the off/park position or if it has been turned manually from that position or stopped/disconnected in between

OK, the motor is connected and works, it is in the park position. The crank can only fit in two positions, pointing left or right.
