Wiring for 3spd wiper

ANYONE tackled the job of putting new wires on 3 spd wiper motor? my motor tests good wires are dried and brittle and insulation missing.how big a job?

Not too bad. Kind of a pain because you have wires running into the motor. Splicing to a good section of the old isn't too bad, it's trying to get them to sit right inside the motor housing so the magnet don't touch them that is a trick. They need to seat in a particular channel of the housing. Take some before pic's when disassembling so you have reference on how they all need to sit. Two wires going to gear cover plate easily solder on to a couple real small male spade terminals.
