Which exact wire under the dash, is a good one to use as a memory power source for an aftermarket stereo ? In order, to not lose stereo preset functions, time, etc.

If memory serves correctly the cigar lighter circuit is hot all the time.

Thank you, there’s a orange 3 way that leads to the ash tray light bulb if I remember correctly. That orange wire is always hot. This 3 way is the right choice, correct ? Or is the lighter wire red that should be used ?

Yes the E2-18 orange would be fine and with an empty socket in the three way you could just plug in

Under dash look for a red triple socket..it's flat and has three sockets. That is hot all the time. The yellow triple is hot for acc and on, the orange is for dash lights.

I do not see that E2-18 orange is constant hot. On my wiring diagram (68) it is a switched 12V. What makes sense because it's for the instrument lamps per FSM and those don't require to be always hot.

All the pink wires (eg dome lamp) and red (cigar lighter) are always hot!

I will hook my aftermarket radio for constant 12V to the red cigar lighter at the fuse box and the switched 12V to either the orange wire of the old radio socket or the 3-way terminal.
