Wiring Up a Alternator for a 68 Plymouth GTX

Can anyone tell me how the Alternator is suppose to be wired up? I have a black wire with a ring on it, green wire with a slider on it, then black and red wire with a ring on it and I'm assuming this is the positive.

Any help or pictures would be appreciated

What kind of alternator and regulator do you have? Stock single field wite alternator? Not sure whats up with the other black and red wires.

As asked is it a single field ? Your two ring terminal wires should go to the lug on the alternator and the slide on connector goes to the slide on (field) connection on the alternator... That's the jest of it...

That eyelet has a flat side in it? Looks like it. That would go to the ignition coil
