Had a pile of Nos parts I was moving and I came across this NOS nose seal for a 1969 Daytona Charger which also shows a fitting 1970 Charger. It is dirty but very pliable with all rivets intact and the steel plate is still very clean. Has the correct ribbed edge for sealing. I feel it will clean-up very nice and should go on a serious restoration. One thing I see is 4 tiny holes from the parts tag being stapled on it back the what looks to be 6-3 70 something... So what's it worth?

Brett,
The real value in the hood to nose seal that you have is the retainer strip. We reproduce the rubber seal and is the same for the Daytona, Super Bird and 70 Charger. The retaining strip is not yet available as a reproduction piece.

Good luck with the sell and interested in what the market will bring for the part.

Thanks for the information Richard. I threw it up for sale and in a 20 minutes had a bid for $100 but it was not listed correctly so I canceled that bid and relisted. The bidder contacted me to purchase out right and I just said I will let the market determine value as there was none available to compare to..

If the mods would like to delete this since it is up for sale. I have no problem as I was trying to find a value to sell out right but couldn't... Thanks for the PM Richard...

I'm OK with it for now...but if you want to share the eBay listing, we can move it to the For Sale section.

Thanks Kiwi but it's up for "auction" not a fixed price so I don't want to put it there... My intentions were to get a ball park value and put it there originally. Plus there is a Jerk-off over on FCBO complaining I would not sell outright even though it has no reserve. He posted about this when I asked a Value on a 69 C-body Big Block Max Cooling Radiator and then I found out through a PM it's actually correct for my Fathers car so it ended up finding that info there and Don't need a value as I am keeping it...
