i am considering buying some of those wood grain overlay stickers for my 70 bee i see some companys have multiple types of wood available does anyone know what the type of wood it is on the dash? thanks!!!

No but I have one laying around for a center console that I am not going to use still new. Would consider parting with for a few bucks or a beer or two :) Think it's walnut

yeppers I've got a spare too. The folks at R.E.M. who make most of them were getting real sloppy on the fitment. They can be shaped wrong and too short on the back end. I got one from Dante's and he worked with me. He took one out of stock and layed it aginst the top plate and saw what I was talking about, so now he has shipped the mfr a top plate so they can setup the die-cutting machine properly. I should have the reworked product in shortly, depending on how long it takes Remanufactored auto parts to get it right.
The next thing you may find is that many of the stickers will come to you as just a wood grain, much like shelf paper. No gloss and easily damaged, much lower quality than stock! But you need not worry as soon as you get the sticker go doun to your local sign & banner shop and have them cover the sticker with a clear plastic lamanate. If you look close the stock sticker actually had a clear plasticover the wood grain originally
It will look great shine great and be much tougher than the cheep crap most companies are passing off today.
Been there ? Hell I am there, now! Done that? I'm doing it now.

Be shure to check the fit before spending an extra 10-15 bucks making the sticker right.
I fo want to thorw a good word twoards Dante parts for taking the time and caring enough to work to get the biggest supplier of these get it right.
