Steve Klein geez sold a Hemi starter splash shield to him a couple of years ago. Had some nice stuff, saw a picture of a red 63 Dodge. Wasn't sure it was him until I saw email address.

This thread caught my eye because it reminded me of visiting a genuine stash of just Hemi cars.
It was in the early eighties and the guy had thirteen of them. (all 426 Hemi cars).

His deal was to seek and find deals on broken ones.

He showed me the wooden shelves he made to store the engines. As I recall several of the engines had "windows" in the side of the blocks. All had not yet been disassembled.
A few mile drive from his home led to a rented farm like building where he stored the cars the engines came from.

As one might expect these cars were not yet afflicted with the rust bug being they were all less than fifteen years old.
 
They were rusted-out and junked in about 5-6 years, here in Michigan.
