Word Of Warning

And certainly don't insert it into your mouth after you've inserted in your rectum... that would be really disgusting.

"What's the difference between an oral and a rectal thermometer?"

The taste...

Same reason owners manuals now tell you not to drink battery acid but used to instruct how to adjust the valves.

Here's one the can stick up their rectum!

Gas Can Spouts
The spout is the piece that dispenses and funnels the gas from the container into a machine’s gas tank. It’s also where gas is likely to leak or spill. In 2009, the EPA began requiring all gas cans to adhere to a series of regulations. All gas cans manufactured and sold in the United States must:

  • Close automatically
  • Have one – and only one – self-venting opening
  • Include childproof features
  • Limit permeation of hydrocarbon emissions to 0.3 grams per gallon or less
These regulations aim to enhance safety, prevent spills, and reduce environmental damage. Today, gas cans and their spouts vary in design, but are all manufactured to adhere to EPA regulations. Gas cans manufactured and sold prior to January 1, 2009 remain legal to use; however, newer designs are strongly recommended.

My elderly neighbor brought me his new can and asked me if I could get this thing open so he could get some gas for his mower. What a piece of **** these have become. They get worse every year with the design changes. There's a ratchet/ gripping ring around the spout where you fill it. It's impossible to turn off if this becomes too tight. (Green ring in the picture.) I cut that off for him so it could be opened each times when filling.

The spout itself, in order to pour, you have to have double jointed hands and fingers to operate it. With some of the early California cans I could remove certain pieces so it would work easier. Not this one. You will destroy it and it will leak while pouring. Like it doesn't anyway. I told him to get one of these aftermarket kits to eliminate this BS. Comes with a different spout, bleeder ect.

The scary part is... There's a guy walking around out there somewhere who's the reason for that warning!

There are more orifices you know.
