this 63 that iam working on i was just wondering if its a rare kinda neat combo or just as common as a everyday house fly? lol. its a 63 sport fury 383 bucket seats four speed. saturday i'll go and take pics of the vin tag weather permitting.

To me thats a pretty easy question to answer, I go to car shows all summer long and I might see one 62-65 B-Body. So yeah thats a rare car.

I can't recall seeing any in person at shows or at the track. I've been keeping an eye out for an early b body project on craigslist but have yet to find one. But there are a few guys on here with 63's.

I've seen plenty of 63 Belvedere's and Savoy's at Mopars in the Park over the past several years. Only 1 63 Sport Fury that I can remember.

My 63 Sport Fury is an original 383 auto car. Now its a 426/440 auto. Ron

After 6 years in a row of being a vendor at Chryslers at Carlisle, I've seen a load of early b-body cars. I sit in my spaces and it is one big car show as they drive by.

Very rare, so does it have the late 63 tunnel hump with square boot. An early 63 with 3 speed and round shifter hole is ultra rare.

mine's a 63 dodge 383 4 speed from the factory, still all original running gear with the shifter too....

don't see many that's for sure......

got 2 broadcast sheets, govier docs, but am going to keep the original running gear to one side whilst I make a max wedge copy......

I still have the original 383 and 727 push button auto trans for my 63 Sport Fury. But it will never go back in the car while I am alive. I will never sell the car and it will stay a Max Wedge clone as long as I am alive. I have always wanted a Max Wedge car and the 63 Ply was my favorite. My boys will get it when I die and then they can do what they want ! Ron

:eek:ccasion14: that's my idea with mine as well but leaving it for my little gal....she just turned 5 and asked me how old she has to be before she can drive it(I'm in trouble already).......

There was a black 383 4-spd Sport Fury project for sale on E-bay last spring. Very rusty, but neatly optioned!
