Somebody making that mold at the factory made a boo-boo.....as you know, that cap won't fit
 
Also where is clips on the Cap is another half an inch higher so I think it’s wrong All together
Geez.....probably made in China on a poorly made mold from plans stolen from the USA. Take that sucker back!
 
One is for a standard distributor, the other is for an old dual point prestolite or tach drive direct connection electronic. If it has a spring loaded button in the middle, it's prestolite.

I went back in the listing and it says Prestolite Oh well you live and learn
 
Just lucky. I had a prestolite in my runner, and I'm still using a dc tach drive dist in my 62. Both use the same cap with the spring loaded post.
