I am having no luck finding a factory replacement speaker for my 68 Charger. I have the center speaker, but Nobody that I talk with carries a 3.5" flush mount speaker. I am very surprised, but even phone calls with Crutchfield and Classic audio did not produce a product that will flush mount. Both companies recommended a custom application. Can anyone recommend a 3.5 " solution. I have an upgraded electronic Thumbwheel, so I am not bound by 4 or 8 ohm restrictions or power.
Thanks

Brad

Retro Sound might offer some help. Believe there’s a solution in the search bar

Thanks for the suggestion. The retrosound speakers have cone that sits above the speaker or mounting surface. The factory speaker covers will not touch the dashboard and in fact sit on that cone which would not be good for the sound. I am getting more disappointed that the suppliers don't make a speaker that will mount in a standard 1967-70 B-Body Dash. If you call them, all three I spoke with says they don't have anything like that and that I will need a custom solution. I have the Center Speaker solved and it wasn't that difficult, mounted right into the original speaker housing.
Thanks again for responding.

Can you mount the speaker below the dash opening? If so I would make a spacer to lower it and then the grille should fit.
