this is the crossmember that is welded to the rear frame and the bumper bolts to it... im looking for a real clean piece if anyone has one for sale. Ill be at the Carlisle show for easy pick up and no delivery hassle.. let me know and thanks ...Rich

Unless there is a donor car out there ya might be better off fabbing one up yourself. There are actually 6 pieces that make up the bumper mounting surface. I started fabbing this portion up for my 66 but abandoned the project in favor of a better body to start with.

There is the bumper bracket itself
There is the filler for the ends and the main piece across the entire rear. I wrote all of the measurements down. I fabbed the filler pieces out of 22 gauge metal and had some freebie metal to make the cross portion.

nice work, I was hoping that someone was parting out a rust free car, like a 4 door from a dry climate.... My skills are not up to yours, I'll keep searching for a rust free piece, if not i have a friend thats real good at metal work, im sure he can fab something if i cant find one at Carlisle...thanks BEEP BEEP for the response...Rich

Hope you find one.. There are plenty of 4 door cars out there..

I have one. Pm me your cell number and I can text you some pics. The car was from North Carolina originally.
