What's wrong with your old one? A machine shop might be able to fix it, if it's not too bad.
 
Trying to put a transmission together and only needing the main shaft which is missing

I had a main shaft that had pitting on the front tip and got a quote on it for repair- it would be way more than a new one- just not worth it
