I have a 489 case w/ 2.96 highway gears installed currently (coming out of a turbo show car) and also a set of 4.10's from Richmond that will go with it (750 miles on the 4.10s). Had the 30 spline Richmond Powertrax locker installed by a local differential shop ten months ago, as well as the mint c-body 2.96 gears. The car has only been driven around 350 miles since then, with 180 of those miles coming from my recent trip to Daytona Beach last week. Honestly love the gear ratio with the turbo, but looking to go back to a more aggressive camshaft and slightly taller tire. Would rather swap out my rear with a factory 3.23 unit (3.91 will be a compromise), as it's going to cost me $600 local for the new ratio and installation.
