I still have my YZ 250 that I got when I was in high school. It's a '82, the first year that they were water cooled.

It was a British bike. Two-stroke. It's at the bottom of the Genesee River last I knew(story for another time). Mine I believe was a 1973 very similar to the pic, same color and all. Dad bought it for me on the side of the road for $100 or so back around 1985. Yamaha made the engines in them from what I was told.
Dad was big on British bikes back in the 70's and 80's. He had (2) Nortons (850 & 750 Commando), a Triumph 750 Bonneville and a BSA Rocket 3.
