You big dummy! Grady Demond Wilson won’t be down for breakfast

Wow, I just really can’t believe it. That is one of my favorite shows. I guess he had “the big one”. Not to be rude but I’m curious as to what stage it was, and who is left from that show anyways?? I think he was the last surviving member. Rest In Peace “you big dummy”.

I never knew his name was Grady. The show always just listed him as Demond Wilson. There was a character named Grady, though. He was Fred's buddy, played by Dick Gregory.
R.I.P. Lamont.

And may Demond rest in peace

I was just beat boxing the theme song yesterday.

Our grandson started doing something (you know, what kids do making noises) and I countered with almost a full version of the SAS theme.

Perhaps Devine intervention.

RIP Lamont/Grady

I still see the Sanford & Son show every so often on late night like
METV FETV etc. one of the oldies channels here Xfinity X1

Used to call the hoarder neighbor across the street Sanford with no son......
I have one of those across the street too
nice guy but I hate looking at all the crap not behind a fence or covered
you can't see the 1/2 of it either

sorry but that's too much crap in a 1/3rd acre lot,

it's even worse now a couple derelict trucks & snowmobiles on a trailer too
put up some 'rinky dink fence & a carport', with another derelict MH parked in it
anoither old POS Ford 4wd & another utility truck, that don't run either
half the time hoods are up & junk left outside, it's a mess
this is a nice neighborhood, he's an OK guy just way too much junk

it's be another story if he was way out in the country
on property where people didn't have to look at his junk
daily
he's been confronted by other neighbors for it too
I don't think he will be there long

it also cut off a long standing animal trail from getting thru
no big deal, but I hate seeing all that junk daily

In my area there’s a cottage industry of guys who drive around suburban neighborhoods the evening before garbage pickup in ramshackle patched together old pickup trucks looking for scrap metal and broken appliances and tools residents leave by the curb for garbage pickup.
They then take the junk they find back to their homes to sort or fix up. A Mopar buddy of mine, member here who hasn't posted in awhile, lived in an adjacent suburb to mine and the guy across the street from him was one of these junkers.
Not only did he have to look out from his house and see the junk and decrepit truck, but the junker would blast cucharacho music while out in his garage enjoying his junk pickings. Maybe he was Sanchez and son!
That along with a sketchy section 8 renter living next door motivated my friend to sell his house and move to a better neighborhood.
