They seem to be the easiest to pick, the run of the mill standard master lock everyone sells. I have a basic pick and when I’m bored on a zoom meeting I pick a couple of them, then it got too easy so I try to do it one handed now which I usually can.
Back in the 70's I use to open the keyed locks with a pair of wire cutters, just cut the four rivets and remove the plates......... And the combination locks are so clunky you can feel the the notches as you rotate the knob...
Since the invention of the cordless grinder and cutoff wheel, very few padlocks are worth anything. At least if used in an area where there is no one around to hear the grinder.
Yep. Cut off wheel WAY easier than bolt cutters.
Funny though, the general population still hasn't realized that.

Turned out it was a Medeco Abloy brand.
