hello everyone, i'm 28 and tackling my first project vehicle after serving in the Army. my wife bought me a 1985 d150 for my 25th birthday and i realize its quite different from a "B-Body" but i have a 318 and i know they come in quite a few mopars. i am currently trying to fix the previous owners neglect issues with the pickup. i have recently rebuilt the 727 3 speed auto transmission but it did not have enough meat left in the side walls of the case to hold together. Now on top of finding a replacement tranny i am trying to figure out how to get the turtle out from under the hood without replacing that too. i hit the throttle and you can here it choking desprit to run free haha. any one willing to share some knowledge?
