I screwed up and put off calling the AirTel until yesterday. Turns out they are booked up.
I checked with the Holiday Inn Express, my previous hotel. They wanted $222 per night!
My talented Wife looked around and found several cheaper options. I booked a place in Reseda. The google earth shows it to have a big parking lot.

Just read on Moparts that the Picture Car Warehouse deal is NOT happening this year!!! Something about a piece in MCG about it. Anyone read that? I don't get MCG.

The Picture Car Warehouse Spring Fling Kick-Off Party is still at the old location as in the past. -Their lease has been extended.

Motion Picture Car Warehouse Spring Fling Meet and Greet
This is a 44,000 sq. ft. facility that builds cars for the movie studios. They have about 200 cars in stock, as well as builds cars as required for the studios for particular movie projects. They have really cool stuff there!

Spring Fling Speed Festival Mopar Track Day
• 8am-5pm: @Willow Springs Rosamond, CA 2.5mi road course
• 7am Drivers meeting at Track Diner
• 8am New driver instruction class and ride along instruction. Run groups sorted by experience
• Lunchtime Drag Races open to spectators cars also
• $325/car. Discount of $50 for Registration prior to March 31st.

Fun Field on Saturday with no formal judging: works in progress, Mopar spirit, cars that don’t fit into traditional classes, exceptional cars, survivors, etc. Bring your show car, project car, daily driver, whatever.

On Sunday Judging is available if you want. No pressure. Cars will be parked in body and year groups. Like 60-66 A-body together and 67-76 A-body together. Or parked in Race car, pro street, in-progress,, etc areas.

Both days. Many are from out of town, so they all will be there both days. But there will be more on Sunday. There are a few that are Saturday only.

Saturday is the day for the swap meet. About half the cars on Saturday will not be there on Sunday. But on Sunday there will be the same amount of new/different cars.

First swapper is let in at 7:00am sharp so all the spectators have a fair shot at the parts.

Other shows have a swap setup day. So during the setup day all the swapper get the good deals before the regular public has a chance.

This is the foot traffic at 7:46 am to 8:12 am on Saturday Morning.
