Scored another Mopar... for the daughter!!

Stories like that warm the heart,Not just anyone would hold a car like that . He must be a good man,and a father as well. and your daughter is a very lucky young lady to have a dad like you.God bless all three of you.
Yeap, he's a father and recalls the nose of the car scaring his daughter . He really wanted to build it with his daughter so that might have played a roll.

Great story. Hope you gave the man a decent down-stroke.

Cool deal, sounds like a good price too

cool your daughter wants an old car even

nice the guy is holding for you too,
there are some good people & good deals still

congrats
best of luck & happy Moparing
I'm very happy with the price. I learned on my Charger that replacing roofs, quarters, trunks, Dutchman panels, tail light panels not to mention piecing together a car missing a lot of parts is expensive so this one should be more fun.

Agreed...the seller sounds like a decent bloke, and obviously not just cash hungry. Well done on the score, and even better - congrats on finding your daughter a very cool project.
This should keep the build posts from your house rolling in for a few more years now.
I've got to finish my garage and dad's truck then it will begin:thumbsup:.

Good stuff Dev. You are a lucky guy in that she wants to spend time in the garage with you and thinks these old cars are cool. I wish my boys showed 1/2 the interest as she does. By the way, has anyone ever told you that she resembles her Dad?
So far she's it, my boy doesn't seam to into it and the other 2 have only been with us a little over a month so we'll see with them.

As a father I am surprised you are not steering her towards deep buckets with five points and a floor shift. My wife will not let me get rid of the bench seat in the 64... Nice car!
While we were driving home I pointed out how the buckets hold you in better, she didn't seam interested lol.

Only if a decent sized deposit is a perverted.
Lol, sorry never heard it referred to as that. Honestly I've been strapped with renovations to our basement with the addition of 2 more kids and am in the middle of building a garage so I don't have it... poor timing. We have some $$ coming in that was going towards drilling a well but found another spring producing 2.5 gallons a minute right by the house so that project just got a lot cheaper. I simply told the man that I hoped it was still there when I had the money and he pulled the sign, I'd like to think I'd do the same and likely would. He'll be thanked one way or another for his kindness.

that cute, ****-eatin grin tells it all!!

Congrats Devin, you're a Great Man. :usflag:

That is so awesome that she is into the muscle cars. She has great taste going green. Lol. Gonna be another sweet mopar in the stable. Tell her congrats. Awesome job dev.

Way to go old man, that's a nice car for her, real cute kid too.

I was honestly expecting her to say ORANGE but hey green and charcoal are my other favorites so it's cool. Think I may sneak a ghost flag into her stripe though..

No EFI-lol. In 6 more yrs she could be the only female in Ohio that understands a carburetor!!!

Lol, we'll see. It will have more to do with her progress than anything else, if she gets what flooded is or how a choke works than maybe. I for one like carbs, not because they're better than EFI but because my ignorance can understand and fix them without a computer!
