Family had a 1973 Mercury Montego MX station wagon.
Did the whole "family vacation" thing driving to Disney land.

Pop bought a brand new 72 AMC Ambassador Wagon....... my brother and I rode in the back on a cross county trip, the A/C stopped working between Arizona and LA; the old man was pissed!........ours was green, with the woodgrain of course

I have a buddy that owns three of those.... Along with a 65 Plymouth wagon, and a 68 Plymouth wagon...

I own a Ford Falcon 2dr wagon...

We had the same wagon! Not sure about the MX trim level though.
Memories of getting in our pj's (me and three bros) and going to the drive in movies with Mom & Dad.
Good times!
