Hello, here is a little about my project B body:
It's a 1962 Dart 330 4-door, originally a Poly 318 with the pushbutton 727-A. 8.75 rear, 741 case, and I believe 3.23 gears.
Well, where to start now. I have bought alot of parts through the 6 years I been working on it. Bought a 1962 non-Max Wedge block, 1973 727-B, 489 nodular iron case, 30 spline lightweight spool. 1968-70 906's with a mild port, gasket matched. Extra grill, reverse light delete plates, body plug kit, firewall plug and flaps, foam firewall seals, several sets of tail light bezels; never did get a really nice pair, NOS turn signal lenses for the front, NOS clear rings for the tail lights, a couple hood emblems, high beam bezels, hood bumpers, dress bolt kit for the 727, full poly front end kit, chrome engine dress kit, fuel pump blockoff plate, NOS trans inspection panel, dash pad, right eyebrow trim piece; which by the way took forever to find on ebay..., There is more but I don't wanna be all night typing it out.
I cut the door inner panels out, and removed the vent windows on the front doors, replacing the original door glass with lexan, and will build a strap system like the 65 fectory lightweights had. Cutting the hood inner panel out to lose some weight on it. Will attempt to build my own fiberglass fenders, and depending on how that goes, I might end up doing a whole bunch of parts in fiberglass. Installing a fuel cell in the trunk, relocating the battery to the trunk. Want to upgrade to dual master cylinder and convert to front disc, possibly front and rear. I was planning on a bright blue and white paint scheme, but for now just gonna lay some primer and call it done. Maybe one day it will get painted, but its been torn apart for about 5.8 years now and I just wanna get it driveable again..

Welcome - cool car. Post some pics!

Are you converting this car to a 2 door or leaving it a 4 door?

No, no two door conversion, I wish I could have bought a two door, just building it as a 4 door, next project will either be a 68 Dart or another 62, maybe a convertable..

It is a pretty easy conversion on a sedan if you can find a set of 2 door doors.

Project550 welcome to the forum good luck with the build.
