Woodward dream cruise 2011 pics

Hi all, Here are the pics I took at the dream cruise today. If you have some post them. I uploaded everything I had.

I also wanted to thank Bo from the Blarney Stone Pub for the use of his parking lot. We had a great time thanks. We will be back next year.

Lots of great pics, thanks. I had a great time over the last several days on Woodward and will probably head out again today. I must admit to being lazy with the camera lately, I didn't take any pics in Carlisle, didn't even take the camera to the Nat's(forgot it) and only took pics of one car at the dream cruise and that was for reference. I guess I'm getting to comfortable knowing I will be able to see everybody elses pics on this forum. It's either that or I finally realized after 42 years I have enough pics of other peoples cars both on the computer and stashed away in boxes.

i heard it was hot and muggy there yesterday.was talking to gary jakes and he was hanging out watching all the cars.

After the rain the cops started shutting down side streets near Catulua Street and people started to leave. We went out to 75 and around to 12 Mile RD in Birmingham for a few more hours. Left about 9pm the cops had shut down the under pass and eastbound lanes to 696. We had to go 30 miles out of our way just to get out of the area. Damn cops anyway! They were just pissed off cause they had to do something besides eat doughnuts and drink coffee. Lol. Other than that had a great time. Be back next year!!!!

Sounds a lot like Back To The Bricks;the police presence was overwhelming. As there were a few incidents(stoopid fooking gangbangers),their presence was welcome. Some got a bit overzealous,however.
