Any advantage or disadvantage to a cross flow radiator. Been looking hard at a griffin 2 row with 1.25 inch tubes. Anyone with any experience with one of these?
A dual pass crossflow would be even better. If you're going to spend the bucks on a Griffin, may as well get the best.Any advantage or disadvantage to a cross flow radiator. Been looking hard at a griffin 2 row with 1.25 inch tubes. Anyone with any experience with one of these?
An overflow bottle should be run on all radiators...I believe you have to run an overflow bottle with the crossflow.
The radiator is divided into 2 sections forcing the coolant to move across the radiator twice...ie, the top half flows one way and the bottom half flows the other and the tanks are divided. The biggest drawback to that is your inlet and outlets are usually on the same side....and the cost.by dual pass do you mean two row? Not familiar with dual pass.
