I heard a block of THE BEATLES today and was thinking wow, i havent listened to the the fab 4 in awhile.
So which is your all time favorite song.
I know they have a ton of fabulous songs.

mine is while my guitar gently weeps and here comes the sun

Two of my fave's also.
Come Together
Something... One of the greatest love songs ever.
Oh! Darling
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Because

Just to list a few. I pretty much like all of their stuff early to late... even alot of the solo stuff. The older I get the more I get more of it. If that makes sense.

Also, if you are a Beatles fan, I suggest a recent movie (2009?) called "Across the Universe". Really good film set to the tunes of the Fab 4. Yes, a musical.

Yea, My iPod is loaded with Beatles...

Psyco-stuff and late pre-psyco.

bang, bang-shoot, shoot!

Who was the walrus, again?

Lennon in the Walrus was a talent on display. But for my money..."In my Life" was the best one.

Funny you mentioned Something because in 1973 i was taking guitar lessons and i was getting pretty good.
I wanted a real GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM really badly.
I went to Sam Ash music almost everyday after school and played it. I'm lefty. It was $509.00 back then.
My mother told me if i learned Something from start to finish she would buy it for me for my birthday.
I STILL HAVE THE GUITAR TO THIS DAY!

Srgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band & "hey jude" by George Harrison

Twist and shout ! Ron

Well, ever since I watched them on Ed Sullivan show, Feb.9, 1964, it's difficult for me to pick "one" favorite. Interesting how a 7-year life is broken-up into 3 segments, but I tend to like the "mid-years" better (Rubber Soul thru Sgt.Pepper). My easy answer is "everything except Revolution #9 ", which is garbage, not a song. So, I'll say "In My Life", but I like "Revolution" (single version) & Helter Skelter as well.

Hope Paul doesn't find out about this, or George (R.I.P.) may have gotten sued again for plagiarism ?

I like pretty much all of their stuff including the psycho stuff lol but there's not much I don't like except for the late 70's early 80's disco and rap......

Twist and Shout, Revolution and The Word bring back good memories.:headbang:

Mid year stuff is my favorite, but how can you pick one favorite out of everything they did? But since we're talking about them, this is related. It's amazing how the guy choreographs his moves and actions the the music. Done to "Golden Slumbers/Carry that weight" I promise, it's not gonna be an "I wasted 5 minutes of my life for THAT?" link.
