Well......I've got experience with Maxi's, so I know how damn fast they can be. All the 64 Hemi's were supposed to be aluminum nosed cars. But they weren't. I have seen one documented steel nosed car that was supposedly some sort of NASCAR piece....although this particular car looked like it had never been to the track. GG claims it's real. So if I had a choice, maybe that one car
Seeing as i currently have a 65 Hemi Dodge Coronet, i can tell you that the cost of a race Hemi is CRAZY. Thats why the car is going to be for sale real soon! It's a clone A990. Dam good one at that! I also have a 440.6pak, RR which a stock elim car, and it costs about 70% less. Not as fast, but a whole lot of fun!!!!!!!!! John Lang
I agree with 71Charger. If money were no object and if it was more of a show car, I would go with the hemi. If it was a street/strip car and money was an issue, I would be working with the wedge.
i know i just had never heard of anyone calling the 426 an "early" hemi it just threw me off... i guess i should get used to it now...
i cant afford either one but i think i would go with the wedge....
