Personally i think they look great (on 71-72), i don't know of the whys or there-fores, but if they look good to someone, why not? Its about fun, unless there being restored to sell as original.. That bird in the grill there does look good! you guys with the 71-72, there just plain good looking front ends, to really try to improve the looks would, i think, be hard to do!

I never claimed the chin spoilers were original to the 72 RR, I was just telling one of the posters what they were on the 72 RR in the first picture.

I think they are cool and so is the Gull Wing that is why I am going to put both on my 72 RR.

Still love the satellite grill
Looked high and low for a 72 RR grill- for a few years...
I wont pay 2k for one but somthing tells me in yrs to come I prob should have ...

I wouldn't worry about it, its only a matter of time before they get reproduced. I'm glad I didn't pay premium price for my 70 Challenger grill because they reproduce them now and the price of the originals has plummeted!

I remember this topic came up on RR Nest and thought id share- and even 5those guys think it wont be remade but who knows....
