Hi everyone. Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. 48 yo with 2 kids, both in the service now, daughter navy and son army. So that leaves me and my cars now. I have a 70 GTX which I'm restoring and hoping to bring back to as close to original as I can. Also have an 09 HSV GTS:icon_thumright: :cool:Great car lotsa fun. I've been sitting in the background for a while now and it seems like a good site. Take care all.

Hi MarPar. HSV stands for Holden Special Vehicle. They're a company that take a new model when its released and turn them into street performance cars. Bigger engines, performance suspensions etc. That's my GTS in the pic under my user name.

This is the GTX when it arrived and then pulled down in my garage. It's at the resto place now getting done properly. Too big a task for me and I didn't want to wreck it. Tried uploading some photos from the resto but wouldn't work.:VB toast:

Yep. Something like that. Except the GTO was a 2 door based on our Monaro. My GTS is a 4 door. Unfortunately by the time I was able to get one of these, they no longer made the Monaro. :sad5: I always wanted one.
