Hi,
Does anyone know if someone is making a replacement for the Coronet racing stripe in the photo...or the dimentions of the stripe so I can make one? I think it was a dealer installed option.
Regards,

First time I have seen that stripe on a coronet.
Looks like they copied the early mustang GT 350 stripe

There was NO stripe option of any kind for any 67 coronet model

That is correct.

That picture was in the original 1967 Coronet brochure but was never available FACTORY installed.

Certainly one of the stripe companies can make it and for that matter a local sign shop could too. Just estimate the size based on the picture based on your actual car's dimensions. No one will ever challenge you on it.

Hi,
Ok, thanks. I though that some factory documentation I saw on the Hamtramck Registry said it was available from the dealer. I guess I will just try to estimate the size like you said.
Thanks again,

From the dealer and factory INSTALLED are two different things that people sometimes mix up. Available from the dealer can mean three different things.

1. A dealer could order a car per the customers request with regular available options.
2. In SOME cases the dealer could special order things that could be installed at the factory.
3. Dealers could order some factory AVAILABLE parts/items that were in the Chrysler inventory and in the parts books to be installed at the DEALERSHIP that were not available factory INSTALLED.

#3 Is the case with the above stripe.
