Yes it is, with some metal flake to boot, when the sun is a shinning it really draws a a lot of people because of the colour and the flake.

Here's my 72 SE. Bought by my parents in 1973 with 4000 miles on it, mine since graduation in 1985, daily driver until 1996 when body, paint, and vinyl top were redone.

Love that Plum Crazy '71. When I was a kid (1985 or so) I remeber one of my dads buddies stopping by in a plum crazy 71 roadrunner. Paint was reaily faded. it was shackled up and had some 10 inch wide slots on the back. I remember asking my dad what is that. he said thats a roadrunner,,plum crazy. Just triggered a childhood memory.
