them! My grandfather had nothing but Mopars, my dad had mostly Mopars, I'm just keeping up the family tradition. Started out with a used 76 Aspen /6 and aluminum overdrive, traded of on an 80 Omni DeTomaso. First real toy was a 66 Satellite with a warmed up 383, had pair of 64 1/2 Dart GT 273s for a while, had a 79 Little Red, but now have just a 70 Road Runner 440+6. Bought it in Texas from a Mopar club buddy of mine. Not numbers matching engine or tranny, so I felt OK to tweak it - now has A-body disc brakes, air grabber, rear wing, and a Kielser Tremec 5-spd conversion and am installing the hydraulic clutch kit, hopefully before the 'nats.

Welcome to FBBO Greg! And what do you mean "but now have just a 70 Road Runner 440+6"? There's guys here that would give their left walnut for that car. BTW: I'd like to see more pics of it.

Aaahhh....don't pay him no mind. He's a whacko....

just like the rest of us:yes:

Welcome. !! I already gave up my left walnut in the divorce... would you settle for the right ?

:welcome:

The tranny is out, installing hydraulic clutch. If I can get it done, the trans back in, the hyraulics bled, engine pre-lubed and timed, rockers tightened, valve covers installed, steering column installed, batter charged, driver seat reinstalled, sill plates in, hood back on, radiator filled, oil changed, battery charged, and it actually runs and nothing leaks or blows up, I'll have it in Columbus. I'm too old for a late minute thrash like this.!!!!!! Pictures of the completed car will follow after I get it going - no time right now.

RPM, I guess demand is low for right nuts these days. Damn, there's not much left to counter with. ;)

Aawh come on Greg..ya pansy. I'd let this slide if you were still down here where it's hot enough for the dirt to spontaneously combust.....

Btw..when you coming down to deal with you know who for you know what?

I heard it wasn't a building you needed bigger, Mr. 69 Runner... I'l be down 8/27, day of reckoning is 8/28 staying thru 8/31. I survived 20 years of Tejas summers. How many Ohio winters have you handled???? See ya!

Well that works for me. Good thing it isn't the weekend before that.

You have to remember I'm a Native Texan. Things are bigger in Texas, and I have more sense than to winter in Cleveland

Trans is in, exhaust (installed headers, had to cut the 3" pipes and splice in modified S pipes to connect them) is also in, driveshaft connected. My wife borrowed one of my old car t-shirts and helped me. This is lady who couldn't tell a Camaro from a Challenger when we met and thought cars were just transportation. Yes, I have corrupted her!!!
