Some Rice Burner Bashing!

I find the term "Farting Biscuit Tin" an appropriate description for Jappers.
And strangely enough.....the owners seem to have an IQ equivelent to that of a ferrets left testical.....I'm not sure of the actual figures, but I'm guessing it's pretty low.

Don't tell me you have them over there too? :head_smack:

Yeah khryslerkid we have them in plague proportions over here, I think most of them would have trouble driving a nail into a sponge cake, let alone driving a car (do jappers count as cars?).....at least that would explain why about 95% of their cars??? are smashed in the front.

Admittedly, I have a burning desire for this car...oops!.....I meant i have a desire for burning this car.

wow :rolling::rolling:

I was at the station fueling up my Super Bee and someone else at a near by pump asked "What kind of mileage does that get?"

I said "You don't drive these cause they get good mileage. You drive these cause they give you WOOD"

ok... First, a disclaimer: I know I'll take some heavy flack for the following comment. Also, let me say that aside from my daily driver (a 2008 VW Rabbit) I am heavily entrenched in American car history (own a 1969 Pontiac Firebird and am in the process of buying a 1934 Ford pickup).

Now... While I do appreciate and love seeing, hearing, smelling and driving the kind of cars that we all love on here, for lack of a better description, because "they give you wood", I can also appreciate some of the well done 'ricer' cars that I've seen. Some of their body styles look pretty slick, and I don't care who you are, 1000 hp isn't a figure to shake a stick at. I've talked to some of the owners of these nicer cars, and they're great guys who have a passion for their cars. In that aspect, I believe that car culture, in general, is a pretty cool community of similarly minded people.

The aspect of this video that disappointed me is that all of the ricer images shown were of the shitty cars, 'mock-ups' (the cardboard body kits), and average high school kid variety. I feel that in the Muscle vs Tuner debate, if we're going to throw out the best of what we have to offer, we should compare them to the best of what they have to offer... otherwise it just looks bad on us.

This being said, I am the first to call out or rip on a round town ricer. The shitty bolt on wings, non functional hood scoops, neon lights and the like crack me up. In my mind, if you're going to talk the talk, your car should walk the walk.

Ok, now lay it on me!

Speedy Canuck, I do agree with you.

Those rice burners do love the car culture as we do and they put as much effort in their cars as we do. Some of us just don't like them...

Also if we're bringin' the best we have,
Ya its got a HEMI

Personally,I assumed that the thread was started as a dig at the cars that appear to be a mobile billboard for a Tuppaware convention that's comming to a town near you.:black_eye:

I'll dig out the picture I have of the Toyota I saw that had GT stripes all over it.....he must have used 3 or 4 entire rolls of black electrical tape!

I'd have to say the ricers conception in morfing "the fake and the fiberglass" into an unrealistic version of an authoritive vehicle deserving respect, is a cancer bound to our american legacy of the automobile. A slow degradation of glory now dressed in plastic press on horsepower, nonfunctional chrome wagon wheels, and emitting arguably the most annoying sounds created by man

I actually feel sorry for them, being ignorantly blind and never being able to experience the true foundation of steel and displacement......the core, the soul, the heart of our four wheeled friend that help make this country and many others.

On a flip side, a guy shouldn't toss stones at another man's dreams and ambitions and must give kudo's to a person following through with goals, but I agree, it surely doesn't mean we have to admire their ventures, especially when it leaches from the history and respect of Detroit Steel that once created a legend we call "The American Muscle Car."
