I used Eastwoods black krinkle on my 67 GTX and 69 Coronet R/T's air cleaners. Light sanding, clean with brake clean, spray it let it sit in a hot garage, or use a heat gun and it will krinkle and look awesome!
It,s black krinckle, but the earleir ones were torquoise...The first 25% or so off the assembly line had different things than the later 75%...Like the stripes that go down the front facia of the car..Early ones the stripes went all the way down behind the front bumper...Later ones they did not...My 67 gtx is from the first 2000 built..
Ive never seen an air cleaner that was originally turquoise. There was one in an ad but it was painted turquoise to make it "pop" out at you in the ad.
I also can't claim to know anything about the stripes, Ive never seen it on a car that could be proven to be original, but I have no proof that its wrong either.
Also, when you apply the black krinkle for best results you can bake it on in the oven, as long as your carefull.
