Lock & Load

Yup, Thanks for posting this Richard.
The guy is 71 years young!

There are more than a few places, and I'd bet Florifrrootea is included, where shooting a FLEEING person in the back is frowned upon.

Something tells me those armed intruders didn't count on an ending like that.

"How to stop a massacre" is pretty misleading. "How to stop a robbery" is appropriate. If this is in reference to the shooting in the theater, one armed grandpa would not have stopped a guy with body armor throwing smoke grenades and firing into a packed dark confined space. Just sayin'.

I'm guessing that the idiots that tried to rob that place didn't know they were that fast. Bet they don't try that again anytime soon. Luckily it didn't turn into a major shootout with all the bystanders in a closed space like that.

Hopefully he/Gramps had another magazine for that little pea shooter, just in case, You go Gramps!!, his actions could have got a bunch of people killed, but "I think he did the right thing", luckily they didn't shoot back... I wonder if any victims of small caliber gun shot wounds, showed up at the local Emergency room ??....

Back when I was a deputy I carried a Colt Mustang .380 off duty, but never was anywhere where I needed to use it. It held 7 rounds. The 9mm Glock I carried as my department issued side arm held 17 rounds and I had an additional two magazines with 16 rounds each.

Good old Barney Miller...

I used to watch this show as a kid. It's way funnier now that I get the jokes!

i will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER.......EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR give up my guns!..............ever !

^ I'm pretty sure the way things are set now with 300 million guns out there (including mine), no one will ever ever ever ever ever ask you to. :angel11:

Your only speculating.................

Body armor or not, a shot from a .45 would've knocked him on his ***. Body armor only covers center mass, not sides, legs and heads.
Just sayin'

Wanna bet?Getting shot in a kevlar vest still hurts like hell. you may be alive, but you are gonna drop. and his gas mask wasnt armor. depnding on how close he was., if someone right in front of him was carrying, point blank to the face would have put an abrupt end to the madness.

question, at :31 into video, the old man draws on one suspect. He couldnt have been more than 7 or 8 feet from the perp. Editing done made it look like he shot, but I dont think so. I don't want to over analyze this, but how, if he shot, did he miss?I read that one of them took a shot in the buttock as they were running away(not good to shoot someone running away) so how did he miss that close?

Nerves and adrenaline. Shooting at someone, even point blank is not a guaranteed hit.
