Oh no I was meaning the other guy and I will post it below this.

I was hopeing to find a NICE set like new ones OR a Nice drivers set Im restoring my 73 and that one set wouldn't work for me but that NEW set would.

You can always buy them and get them restored. If they are as hard to find as everyone is saying it would be worth having the part, restoring it or just holding onto it until you find a better set.

I don't see them reproducing parts for the years 73-74 anytime soon. That is the only reason I have not went and looked at the 73 Road Runner here. I know if it needs a lot of metal they just dont make it and if they do I will have to redo the panels to make them fit.

They seem to be as hard to find as nos Charger molding. What few sets I've seen, have been in the $400 to $700 range.

Except the ones that are split, those are not fixable, at least by anyone i know of.

Ya thats what I was thinking too the crack isnt repairable, Not to the point wear it cant be seen after polishing.
Some of the pitting is too deep too im not trying to be an *** or anything either not picking on you or your chrome Im just was looking for a nice set for a car I have spent a lot of time getting strait.
I really though some one was making this stuff already finding wheel chrome for 71-72 chargers wasnt to hard I didnt know they didnt make it for plymouths though.....

When I took the car apart I wanted a whole brand new set I will have to go through my boxs and reevaluate what I have

If you want mouldings its better han nothing at all. The next time I find some hard to find moulding it'll go straight into the trash. Just trying to help someone out who cant even find the darn things.

I saw someone the other day repairing pot metal parts and trim moldings. They were doing stuff in really bad shape and one of the parts they took metal out and put it back in.

Check with Jeremy he is going to be restoring parts like trim parts see if he can fix them. If they are hard to find parts man either way you go its going to cost a lot.

Doesn't matter I have time on my side I can keep looking for a nice set.
I can polish and straiten some stuff, and I prefer to do stuff like that on my own, I'm sure I could even weld up that cracked one with my Tig welder.
