Best ever restoration

That was a real rustoration project there...Cool video...

someone should tell that guy that they make replacement sheetmetal for a reason.you could see through that trunk floor and he did what to it?be kinda cool when someone throws a spare tire in there and it goes through to the ground.boy he was proud of that painted rear diff too.hey buddy whats it look like inside?

That "parts car," looked to be in better shape then the one they are working on. And did anyone pick up on the (few) of the interior, title?

I have truly never seen anything like this.

Great video! I admire guys like this, great improvising idea, Ive done it a lot in my life trying to do things by myself and to me this is a true enthusiast at work with limited equipment.. Thats a great video to show someone how they can get a car up in the air for enough room to work, A couple come-alongs to have above for added assurance in case something happens would be a good idea there... Thanks for the video.. fun to see what others do to get a hard job done some easier... I seen here not to long ago a guy doing a 70 Bee that had an car cradle, kind of unique how it worked ive never seen one before.

It kinda looked like he leaded the holes up. idk. Yeah not everyone has allot of denaro to work with. I agree the parts car looked allot better though.

I would've gone with the "parts car" to restore, for sure. Looked all waxed and ready to go except for a little hood and trunk lid work!

Why? Why? Why would someone spend that much time with their labor to halfass do a job? I think that was either JB Weld or toothpaste used to fix those holes in the floor. I wonder what will be used to repair that area around the rear glass. Reminds me of the time I helped my brother in law strip an old Mustang. We found a partial beer can Bondoed into a fender because they were covering where a marker light had been previously. Im tired just from watchin this.

Why? Simple. Because they probably live on a shoestring budget and they want to drive a *finished* car in their lifetime, so they are doing it the only way they can. I too admire it. Although I pity the poor chap he sells the car to.

Yea, some of you might have been able to "scrap better cars" but that does not mean everyone has the money to buy a real R/T car etc. Hey, at least its being saved in one form or another... maybe one day if the owner has more cash to spare or the car becomes worth more money it will see a proper restore, but until then i have more respect for the guy keeping the old car on the road then the guy sending another one to the scrap yard. (still sketchy work, dont get me wrong)
