OK, so I owuld like to add a rear sway bar to my sons 72 Charger...but nopt knowing exactly how they are routed...things look a little tight back there. Main thing taking up a lot of room is the Flowmaster 3 inch exhaust. Can anyone post a pic of the rear swaybar mounted....to give me an idea if we will have room?

Thanks
Matt

i dont know how different they are on a 72 but here is my 70

I don't have any pics but the 72 bar is straighter and runs below the center section of the rearend in front of the housing.

Forgive me if im incorrect, but those pictures are of a 73-74 and that's different than 72. So i don't think that's gonna help too much. I'm also looking for some pics of a 72. Mine was robbed and it needs to be replaced. I haven't much luck finding pictures either :(

Scroll down??? Looks like both styles were shown.

yeap, both are there. Of course I got focused in 73/74 since I was building mine, but I show both assemblies and differences

I told you guys he knows his stuff!!

Mine still has the factory bar installed "unmolested", if you still need more.

Check with Firm Feel too. They sell a rear sway bar that is frame hung, meaning, they don't sit down low, but instead snake up and around over the axle like the factory bars. I installed one on my '68 b body and it worked out real nice. I didn't get a photo, but Firm Feel has some nice photos in the install instructions on their website I think...
