Going to put an electric fan in our 1975 Charger but kinda confused. They say it runs on a 40 amp fuse and a 20 amp stat so what amp relay do I use?
 
A good thing to remember is that a fuse protects the conductor, It should be rated lower than the wire being used, the wire being used should be rated for the current draw higher than the device, the relay should be rated higher than the device.....

They work great for power windows too..... Pontiac ran the primary current through the switch itself on the late 70's T/A's, and the damn switch would burn up. My Co-Worker just restored his T/A and added these for the primary current and the switch is only for the coil in the relay.
