505 stroker street car, i have tti 2" headers into 3" x pipe with qtp electric cutouts, then i need mufflers then dump at the diff.
i need something that will flow well, wont crackle, not too noisy as my car is on the illegal side as it is lol ( in a good way)

what do you guys think

I've got the same exhaust setup and originally put the Dynomaxes on that came with the TTI 3" exhuast setup and they sucked!!! Way too quiet. Instead, ordered the Flowmaster 50 series Deltas and its 100 times better!!! What a muscle car should sound like!!!! Just remember, the Flowmasters are in/out specific, you can't reverse them.

If you dump at the diff, I'd recommend angling the dumps out 45 degrees. Cuts waaay down on resonance.

How about none of the above and go with a oldie and a goody.Put these on my GTX.

I answered before the poll. You sure got Cadillac taste in mufflers.

I run the same header size and 3" pipe with the flowmaster delta's Works well and sounds good.

I agree with 1badstroker--mine are 3" Flowmaster Delta 50's (SUV mufflers) through an "X" pipe. Great sound!

I'm planning on running straight pipes when I get my engine rebuilt. See how I like that, and then maybe put some mufflers in if I don't like it. If I did put a muffler in, it'd probably be a flowmaster super 44, maybe a 50.

I like summit racing mufflers sound as good as the rest fully welded and a fraction of the cost flow masters just seem a bit over priced for a muffler!

Amen brother. There's at least two users on this forum who ain't interested in makin manufacturers and vendors rich. lol

I can't see where Summit's welded aluminized mufflers are inferior to anybody else's welded aluminized mufflers. Just not seein it.

:hello2:
Flow Tech Terminators.

i have had these on my 440 69 charger for 12 yrs ! nice sound, and when you hit the loud pedal,, it sounds good different ! ,,AND cheaper than fowmasters cruddy gm sounding AND(at the time, lol) made 12 more hp ! :)

They are good mufflers. Especially if you don't mind being conspicuous. I really like how they sound.

Or if you can find these.Used many of these in the 80s,local parts store sold em $10.00 each.I hate the flowmaster mufflers as you can tell.

there good mufflers, i had a set on my SB barracuda. sound real similar to flowmasters for $30 bucks a piece. they do drone inside the car, just like flowmasters.

i can say you don't want racebullets, they flow real well but a little to noisy on a BB street car. i ran a set for a while on the street, kind of got old. on the other hand i ran dyno superturbo's on the same car, their a little on the quiet side for me. they sound good and won't piss off the neighbors though. not that i've ever cared about that.

My RR had a set of superturbo's on it when i got it, i pulled them off and traded em for some big block flowmaster's. those sound good but im back to the droney sound in the car, planning on putting the tail pipes back on to tone it down.

okay only reason dumpin at diff is my 4 link wont let me run out the back and also the size of the mufflers can not be to big as the track bar interferes also.
so basicallyh need a MOPAR TOUGH sounding muffler that is not too big. i prefer stainless ande has to be 3" in/out.

if you can think of the perfect muffler that isnt on the poll let me know please.

Bassani makes a nice stainless muffler. i have a set on my mustang. they even make that sound good....:tongue3: lol
