Anyone have a gull wing(not go wing) for a 71 runner. Going to be purchasing one soon. If your trying to sell one ill buy from you, or anyone have a recomendation on who makes a good repro?

I had both a 71 & 73 Charger at one time, but I can't remember their trunks.... BUT on my 70 Roadrunner the original trunk lid did NOT have the correct holes/cutouts in the trunk inner/bottom skin. Oddly enough, I found the correct trunk lid on a 4-door Belvedere, so I guess Chrysler put on whatever was handy on whatever car that didn't come with a rear wing. Just a thought.

From what i remember(and i could be wrong) they never installed rear wings on 1972-74 cars from the factory on b bodies. Maybe it was just 73-74.??????????????

I know they never installed the rear spoiler on 72-74 B-Bodies but the 71 type would have been the type that would have been installed on 72-74 B-Bodies. I just really like the spoiler as well as the front chin spoilers both of which will be on my 72 when finished.

oh trust me, I agree. I have had gull wings on any of my 71-74 mopars i have had. They look great. Was it an option on any 72-74 mopar thogh?

As far as I know 70-71 was the only years the rear spoiler was an option on B-Bodies. As for the other models I am not sure.

I was told that the wing on the 70 RR was mid-year option - all trunks came with the cutouts starting build dates in late 1969 or early 1970, but before that did not. My October car didn't have the cutouts, but I was able to get one from a boneyard. Check the building date on your car - I'm curious to see if I'm, right.
