We Need a,For B-Bodies only Run..what car would you bring.?.

id have to bring the Javelin. it gets the best gas mileage and it has alot of Mopar parts on it. ill bring framed pix of the other 2.. coz theyre done but dont get good mileage AT ALLLLL !

Man leave the trailers at home!

Not everyone lives close as some others do to that part of the country, not everyone has a stock or daily driver type cars, some have a ton of money in their engines &/or steep gears, or big stroker gas pigs & we don't & usually won't want to put a bunch of needless freeway miles on them just for a meet & great, halfway or more accross the country & back....

LOL... the 1st rule should be "Mopar only", no Mustang's or Camaro's etc., I don't hate either, I've owned quite a few of each, especially some very fast Camaro's, but it's a B-Body &/or Mopar forum outing, 1st & foremost, there are plenty of other multiple outings for all the others to attend... minor set back for repairs i might be running late.

Upper Rust belt guys.Mopars in the park.Dakota County Fairgrounds in Farmingtom,MN 1st or
2nd weekend in June

I'm with you Bud, I am not driving, or towing for that matter, across the country. Would be nice to drive the car on a 2,000 plus mile trip, but I ain't robbing a bank to do it. We put over 2,000 miles on the 67 last year, with a couple 300 plus mile outings mixed in with local cruise ins and shows. Once gas got over $3 a gallon, the 3:55's came out, and the purpleshaft might be next. We plan on going to a couple large Mopar only events, but will fly in, or drive the Challenger. Looking to attend the MATS event in Vegas in March and drive to the Mopar Nats in Aug. Definitely going to Carlisle in July, taking 2 cars, probably spend 4 days there.

69 Coronet R/T. How about in March? I'll swing by and we can cruise into Vegas for MATS.

I've often thought about having some big FBBO convention. Great idea if you ask me but I'd need to be able to get away from my job long enough to pull it off. Oh, and I'd need to get one of my heaps done! Well, the 66 hemi Charger is running but still needs tuning so don't plan anything for this month! I may have to sell the GTS convertible to pay the gas bill!

LMAO. A pinto? LOL. Yeah, I think I see you too? LOL.

I'd be interested, though I could think of a couple of other cars I'd rather drive across country. I'll def be headed to Carlisle this summer and perhaps the Nats as well.

I,d love to spank the chevys, fords and javelins coming. I built my car to put cars back on the trailer.

Why not do two events?Do one event in say arizona or nevada for the west coast guys. Then do another in Pa or tenn. for the east coast guys.Something not to far for the guys in the middle to travel to.I'm definately in for a track gathering fun run, swap meet, and mopar BBQ gathering of some sort!!

ok...well,,,if were gonna do that, ill bring one of the Mopars coz i really dont wanna have my Javelin spanked by a car sitting on a trailer!

i love that car and would hate to see it on a trailer. maybe you worded that sentence weirdly coz i thot it said you built your car to put cars back on the trailer. ! id bring my '66 also for the record.....! rokk on !

Must have been the wording. My intentions when I started the car were to have a car I could drive to the track. That could beat trailered bracket racers and put them back on the trailer. Then drive past them with the tunes jamming on the way out. My cars a tagged insured street car. I have a tighter converter than the 3800 I run with the 4.88s, to run 3.23s if I want to cruise long distance. With close to 600 ft lbs of torque it will turn 3.23s pretty good also.
