ok for you steering column guys. i have a 73 roadrunner with shifter on the floor. coming out of the console is two red wires hooked together and i have no clue what they are for. everything seems to work fine on the ignition. only thing i can think of they might be for is the key in buzzer. these wires have no power to them anybody know what these wires are for and where they go

"coming out of the console is two red wires hooked together"?
Coming out of the column? If that's the case, they are the key in ign.switch contact switch leads. They would go into the flat ign. switch molex connector at one end.
