That is one reason why I didn't use the set up as indicated in that picture. However, the upper beam could take a LOT of stress off the body. But, I basically extend the frame rails out to a T Bar, and if the car is balanced correctly little force is focused in any one area of the car, rotisserie, and bracing.
I'm not sure who the owner is, but, he's very interested in where his car is at all times; which I don't blame him! The owner puts the heat on the builder (www.paintshop101.com) who in turn is showing interest on when the car comes back!
